You'll be pleased to know that after the amazing success of last years auction raising £2316 for David's chosen charity Doctors Without Borders Hazel the organiser has decided to bring it back for another year.
The birthday auction 2009 will take place from 14th March till the 4th of April, the website will also be available to make any non bidding donations. Donations over £5 will receive a free photo CD of the amazing pictures Hazel has taken at her last few conventions.

David updated some exciting news via twitter earlier on discussing his idea 'Starcrossed' briefly featured within the movie 'A Dogs Breakfast'. According to David's twitter they are planning to shoot this summer which is awesome news I'm sure you will agree!

In a recent update from the Squirrel King himself David mentions that he has received a number of emails from people regarding the role of Doctor Who. Recently at the NTA's David Tennant announced his plans to step down as Doctor Who after this year of special's is over. Speculation has already begun on who the next Doctor will be, and well a lot of us believe it should be the man himself David Hewlett. He has challenged us to go out there and do something about it.
