There have been a few sites already beginning to form to attempt to rally fans together in attempt to show and bring it back on a weekly basis rather than on film.

More bad news has been revealed today and confirmed by various sources most notably sci-fi. Stargate Atlantis has been cancelled and will not be returning for a sixth season. It's 100th episode 'Enemy at the gates' will be the last episode of the season. There is a small consolation in that there is confirmation of a two hour movie to continue on from where season five finishes.
I think you will all agree a sad day for Atlantis fans everywhere, it was far too early for its departure from our screens. Petitions have already began to appear around the net as well as campaigns to Save Atlantis.
It seems the site is back up and fully functioning, there has some been loss of posts but most things appear to be working. David has also made a news post regarding the future of the site he is welcoming anyone's suggestions on the matter.
'Here's the plan. I intend on getting the site secured (as well as can be I suppose) but then it is decision time. I'm thinking about moving to an easier setup (possibly WordPress) but I really don't want to leave everyone in the lurch. The forums are a big exploitable problem and as I haven't even got around to moderation on them...it may be something that I'll have to leave to someone else, I even wondered if I should see if the Gateworld crowd could hook me up with a forum or two. What are your thoughts and suggestions?'
It seems that David has been working hard and DGeek for the moment appears back on our computer screens. David managed to restore it from a back up copy but mentions in his latest twitter post that there are still a number of bugs that need to ironed out. Posting to the forum appears to still be affected. Thank you David and Good Luck!
Sorry to have to report but David's official website DGeek has been seriously hacked and therefore David has had to take it down. In its place is a small message from David himself stating that he hasn't the time to reinstate the website at the moment, but maybe able in his hiatus. Its such a shame as the site seemed to be a great place for so many squirrels to get together and share things. It is hoped that David will make the decision to reinstate the site when he has time but until then I guess things return to normal.
There are various places that any lost squirrels can go to communicate, I have been informed there are many boards and there is certainly a yahoo group. I myself will be spending my time in the forums here trying to pull something back to life.
